Biography:
Marty Schreiber grew up in Baltimore and graduated from the Gilman School. He received the Baccalauréat A, with honors, from the Lycée Jean Perrin in Lambersart, France and a B.A. from Columbia University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. After college, Mr. Schreiber pursued graduate studies in economics at the London School of Economics. He obtained his J.D., with honors, from the University of Maryland School of Law, where he was an editor of the Maryland Law Review and received numerous academic awards, including the Bridgewater M. Arnold Prize for the highest grade in Commercial Paper, the John S. Strahorn, Jr. Prize for the highest grade in Evidence, and the American Jurisprudence Award for the highest grade in Torts. After law school, Mr. Schreiber clerked two years for the Honorable Thomas A. Higgins, U.S. District Judge (M.D. Tenn.). Mr. Schreiber began practicing at the Baltimore law firm of Brown, Goldstein & Levy, LLP in 1994 and became a partner in 2002. In 2006, he founded the Law Office of Martin H. Schreiber II, LLC. Mr. Schreiber also is an adjunct professor at the University of Maryland School of Law, where he teaches courses in civil procedure. Mr. Schreiber is rated "AV" (the highest rating available) by Martindale-Hubbell. |
